TOMBSTONES
We are working hard to clean the cemetery, where deep-rooted vegetation has made it challenging to access many areas. The cemetery was abandoned for too many years, so numerous tombstones are now unreadable. However, for those that remain legible, we will create 3D scans and detailed photographs to preserve their inscriptions.
We’re also looking for volunteers who can help translate Yiddish or Hebrew from the tombstones to uncover and record their stories.
